Predeparture (2)

So I finally got my police clearance certificate! I will be visiting the Belgian Consulate soon to apply for my visa.  Since the last post I've managed to find some decent accommodation. I will be living in a house with a family. The family lives on the ground floor and the students live on the second floor. Apparently there will be two other exchange students living there with me. The family also has a cat and a dog, which is nice, since I love pets! The house also looks really nice, I've added a picture :) My room is really tiny, but I don't really need more space as there is a separate kitchen and bathroom to use.

I've also been in contact with a Belgian student who was on exchange at Stellenbosch this past semester. She's been really helpful, which has been nice. She can also speak Afrikaans, so she helps out a lot with translation!

Only two more months to go before I will be departing! Psyched!
